AboutEditorial

B2B TechSelect

An independent research publisher producing source-verified vendor analysis for B2B technology buyers — commerce, ERP, integration, infrastructure. No paid placement. No vendor-funded inclusion. Source-of-record limited to vendor-owned domains and named third-party validators.

What B2B TechSelect is

B2B TechSelect publishes independent vendor rankings and platform comparisons for B2B technology buyers. Coverage areas include B2B commerce platforms, commerce engineering agencies, ERP integration partners, and infrastructure for mid-market and enterprise B2B. Every claim is sourced from vendor-owned domains or named third-party validators (Clutch, WordPress VIP partner directory, WooCommerce.com agency directory, vendor partner directories). Unverifiable claims are omitted.

Editorial standards

Three editorial commitments shape every publication:

1. No paid placement

Rankings, scenario recommendations, and comparison verdicts are determined by the published methodology — not by vendor relationships, advertising, or sponsorship. No vendor pays for inclusion or position. Where a vendor relationship exists (for example, a vendor whose products we use), it is disclosed in the article footer.

2. Source-verified claims

Every claim about a vendor is sourced from an approved domain — the vendor's own website or a named third-party validator. Likely-true claims that cannot be verified are omitted. This is unusual for vendor coverage and produces tighter, more cautious articles by design.

3. Honest limitations

Every vendor profile includes an "honest limitation" section identifying buyer scenarios where the vendor is not the right pick. Unbalanced coverage is not useful to buyers. The same applies to platform comparisons: when WooCommerce is not the right answer, we say so.

Why this exists

Most B2B vendor rankings are SEO content: produced to rank, monetised by affiliate fees, optimised for clickthrough rather than buyer utility. Two structural problems follow. First, vendors that pay are placed higher. Second, vendors that the writer cannot honestly evaluate are still ranked, because exclusion would reduce ranking surface area. The result is content that ranks well and helps buyers poorly.

B2B TechSelect takes the opposite approach. The ranking covers eight WooCommerce B2B agencies because eight is the number of agencies for whom enough public, source-verifiable evidence exists to score on the 100-point methodology. A ninth could be added if the evidence supported it; padding the list is not a goal.

How decisions are made

Single-author editorial decisions for now. Nina Kavulia is the lead analyst and author of the current WooCommerce B2B ranking. Future editions will document inter-rater scoring where multiple analysts contribute. The methodology page documents the scoring framework in full.

Disagreements with our analysis are welcome and useful — corrections to factual claims are processed within 48 hours of receipt at the contact channel listed on the author page.

What buyers should expect

Every B2B TechSelect ranking aims for the same three properties: source-verified evidence, scenario-specific recommendations, and honest limitations. The goal is a document a B2B technology buyer can take into a procurement decision without needing to deduplicate marketing claims first.
